Hi! I thought at first I'd post this to embroidery, but I think I spent more time sewing these than on the embroidery! I made these shoes using a pattern and tutorial I found online. I thought they'd be a simple project, and they were- after I got through all the kinks. I'm a novice on the sewing machine; I've only made one dress as a kid and some curtains. So my mom spent alot of time showing me the ropes. I'm great at button holes now! I loved how these turned out, and I even got to keep the rocket ship pair for my little boy! We did them first to get some practice. I'm excited that I now have a sweet and personal (and inexpensive) baby gift I can give to my many friends who are having babies in the next few months.

I had so much fun designing the embroidery for the bird shoes and got the rocket ship design from urban threads. I adapted it a little for my purposes. I think that my favorite ones were the black and white ones though. They are precious! If I had a baby girl, I probably would have kept them for her. Smiley Thanks for looking!

I wish I had cute tiny feet so I could wear the plaid ones!!!!
My boyfriend is slightly resenting these shoes though, because I told him we should have a baby so I can have a reason to make them... haha!
VERY CUTE! =D
