My mom collects crosses, which she hangs on a wall in her living room, so for her birthday one of the things I wanted to get her was something to add to her wall. I went to my favorite store (Dollar Tree!) & found a wooden cross which I guess they had since Easter is coming up? I couldn't get that great pictures of it, but here's how it turned out:

All I did was find some sheetmusic for a hymn online, which I then printed out & "yellowed" with tea, then I used ModPodge to stick it on the cross. & then I used black acrylic paint to paint the back & the edges. The edges are intentionally sloppy like that. I think it adds to the charm.  Wink Then I just cut out a heart & wrote a Bible verse (from which the hymn was based on) on it & glued it on.

Comments are welcome!

I love the antique look you gave the cross.

May I ask where you found online sheet music for crafting?

Sometimes you get to change the world, and other times the world changes you.

Thank you!  Cheesy

Unfortunately I don't know the website where I found the sheet music because I had a virus on my computer & had to reinstall everything recently. I tried searching "free christian sheet music" & there was a lot of results so try doing that & you should be able to find it. Sorry I couldn't help more.  Embarrassed
