So I got my bellybutton pierced recently, which means I won't really be too able to surf until it heals, on account of ocean-water being far too nasty to expose to a healing wound, which of course means I can think of nothing else but surfing. So I decided to paint about it instead! Enjoy!

Conquest 12"x48", acrylic on canvas.

...and a detail of the sky:

*edit* Well, the picture of the whole thing is weird, because it kinda sucked to start with, and Craftster automatically resizing it didn't help, but trust me, the real thing is cool.

I do like the sky and the wave detail, and the colors.  I have actually used seawater to heal various wounds and boo-boo's. Wink

Thanks, everybody! As for seawater for boo-boos, well, saltwater yes, but the ocean just has too much detritus and bacteria and yuckies.
