I've finished two, which is saying something, considering how slow a knitter I am. I'm having doubts, though. Both of them have, um, 'handmade charm'. In spades. I think they're cute, but that might be one of those 'a face only a mother could love' things. Tongue

We have another green-lit person! Woot!

Remember: when someone in your down-line goes green, it means you can send TO them at any time.

And when you complete your birds, please email a picture to handmadebirds@gmail.com BEFORE you send. This is to insure that the people you're sending to are also sending theirs. Smiley

Happy swapping!

Eek, I need to get a move on! Shocked I have one bird completely finished but the others still need quite a bit of work. They're looking good so far, though!

I finished my second bird! They are turning out so super cute; I think I might just make them all out of paper. I'm worried about people feeling somewhat short-changed, though. It's just that my sewing skills leave a lot to be desired. I feel like it's equal because these little birds are actually kind of complicated, and I'm spending about the same amount of time on them as I would if I sewed them. I guess I'm just really nervous because I haven't really made things for other people before, much less strangers.

I'm sure the recipients will love them!

Papercraft, sewing or otherwise it's a piece of your creativity. Sometimes the simplest of designs take the most time. Don't stress, Im sure they will be great!
