I sent all my birdies today!  I hope they all fly safely to their new homes.  I have some new live birds of my own!  I live out in the country and  I am raising chickens for the first time.  I have 10 hens about 12 days old now.  They are sooooo cute!!!!!

I sent to the two crafters that were greenlighted on the original send out date, April 30....will send to the remaining green-lighters on the 4th or 5th.

Hooray! I sent!

I went to the bigger post office downtown because they tend to be less stupid. Apparently not today. 4/5 of my birds are 2D and would go easily in an envelope. China Post forbids anything but paper to ge in envelopes so simply said no. I then asked for them to be put in a package, they said ok and brought out boxes. The boxes were probably 15cm x 8cm x 6cm - for a small 2D bird! Partners, if one of you could please photograph your bird in the box and post a pic that would be great, particularly Jeane, Kungpow or Avesthel whose birds just look comical in the box.

I was surprised with how inexpensive the international shipping was. Let's hope it doesn't take too long to get there!

oh rats, I was hoping my last person would be green lit so I could send the remaining packages tomorrow in one shot, not too into this multiple post office trip thing.  Don't think I'll be doing this style of swap again.

I sent to everyone in my group on Saturday, even though one was still not green-lit.  I didn't want to have to make several trips to the post office...
