So I am just learning to quilt but I wanted to show the 3 I have done so far.
This is my first ever I did it for a quilting class.

This is a wall hanging from the leftover fabric from the first one.

This is the first baby quilt I made for a friend.

Hope that you enjoy

I'm impressed. Looks like you took on some complicated quilts for a beginner. I love the baby quilt, too.

Oh wow! That is exactly what I said when I saw your quilts. The colors really pop. I like the first one best, the baby quilt next, but they are all great. What pattern is that first one?

All three are from the Strips & strings Quilt book. I really enjoy this book. It has very easy instructions for me to follow and I have a 4th started but with my 2 year old into everything I will definitely take me a while to finish. Thank you for your intrest.

Very nice job.  I like the looks of those patterns.  I checked out the book from the library and have started narrowing down which one I'd like to start first.  It's good to hear that the instructions are simple.  So far, I haven't gotten past the pictures.  We had a gal at our quilt guild that did one of the patterns in the book but used totally different colors and WOW did it ever make a big difference!

I have another one started but the pieces just keep staring me in the face. I have had so many other projects to do first. But I might just bump them up. The next pattern is from the book as well.

I hardly ever use the colors patterns call for. And alot of the colors in that book are very bland or country which are not my cup of tea. Good luck with your quilt let me know how it goes.
