How about only letting people with a certain number of only positive (no redeemed), feedback? I know it seems harsh, but to do this type of swap I think it would have to be done.

I dont think that sounds harsh.  I think its a good idea for this kind of swap.  And if a person isnt eligble to join the swap, theres always lots of other swaps for them to consider.

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.

Almost all swaps are exclusive in some way.  I think this one needs to be exclusive, so I think you are on the right track.

Just bear in mind that just because a person has never flaked, doesn't mean he or she won't flake.  Sometimes life throws you a curve ball, so unpredictable things do happen.

we used to do boxes like this in the doll communities I was a part of.  the biggest issues we ran into were:

1. Boxes being full of crap no one had use for

2. People getting the boxes and going MIA completely.

Just two things to keep in consideration, though I do have to say when we did it and it was done right it was an awesome fun thing
