It's beautiful!  Well done!

I was just wondering, how did you like the yarn?  I've never bought Elann's superwash before.  Is it soft??  Does it feel scratchy like their non-superwash?  I'm very picky, so I've been hesitant to buy it.

It was the first time I'd ever tried it.  It was super super soft and squishy, though I don't think it was quite a chunky yarn.  I'm not sure how its holding up to be totally honest with you because I gave it to my daughter on her way back to University after midterm break.  She tells me that she is wearing it constantly.  I'll find out soon because she'll be home at the end of the month.

I thoroughly enjoyed knitting with the yarn - not at all scratchy.  If the sweater shows no sign of pilling when she comes back, I'll be buying it again.

PS  Weird avatars today - guess its april foolls

oooh, that sounds awesome!  I think I might just try it. Smiley  I love soft squishy yarn.  The stuff at my LYS is sooo much more money.  I don't mind if it's not really bulky, as long as it's soft. Smiley

Good point about the piling though.  I hate when yarn does that.

oh! and yeah, it's April Fools. It has me ever so amused. heh.
