well my 9 yr old son and I have been busy enjoying some baking today
we made chocolate and plain cupcakes and ricecrispie cakes and some with marshmallows in
here is a few photos, oh and my son wanted RED icing lol






yesterday I hade to make 150 cupcakes, here are a few that I didnt think good enough, but will be eaten at a gathering tonight

thanks, I made a butter cream icing and used liquid red food colouring, I also added a tiny bit of boiling water to the butter cream to make is smoother, I may have used too much colouring, but its tastless Smiley

If only I had read this an hour ago...I made chocolate buttercream and couldn't get it smooth enough for the swirls I usually make! Sad

If only I had read this an hour ago...I made chocolate buttercream and couldn't get it smooth enough for the swirls I usually make! Sad

I find it useful if I've made my buttercream too thick and already put it in piping bags, if I run it under the hot tap for a while, it melts it all a little and makes it much easier to pipe
