I've really liked the shape of that dresser when I saw it in the catalog, & I think it looks amazing with your addition to it!  The picture really looks like it was meant for an oval frame.  Great find, and great job fixing it to fit your style!

What a fantastic way to modify old mirrors! The picture really looks like it was ment to be there.

I give myself very good advice, but I very seldom follow it.

O M G I am all over this- Im gonna do this with my 100yr old oak washstand- it still has the mirror but it looks crappy   EXCeLLENT!!!!

You may want to be careful. Antique mirrors are valued by being unaltered even if the mirror back is flaking they are more valuble with the original glass.

Back to the original post. I liked what you did with the mirror but I have to ask... Are you a vampire?  Shocked

I'm terrified of waking up in the night, glancing at the mirror, and seeing something that shouldn't be there. Stories like Bloody Mary, Freddy Kruger, and the latest horror movie aptly named "Mirrors" lol

Besides that, I'm not terribly fond of my own reflection -and yes, tomico, I do actually have one... no vampireness here... i'm a werewolf! lol jk [I'm just allergic to silver] Tongue

It looks great, and I love the picture.
But I too have a love for mirrors, there is no way I could do this!!
I have a HUGE mirror in my bed room leaning against the fire place we are not allowed to use.
HUGE mirrors, and HUGE clocks are my weakness!!  They are just too cool!!  I have a clock that I have a hard time to carry becasue it is so big, my lovely sister got it for me for christmas a few years back.... I love it!

I am interested in personal swaps!

Slightly offtopic, but the reason you don't like mirrors has me disliking the mirrors in my room now, too! I never thought about that! I've thought about it when I'm showering late at night, the mirror freaks me out then but.. ahhh:(

Anyway! I love what you did with it! Smiley
