I decided that today I was going to be creative.  I've been meaning to make these little guys since I got my nifty donut pan.   I made some chocolate ones last night but did not get to take pics like I wanted.  Here are the ones that I made today.

They still aren't done yet.........I still have to put powdered sugar or chocolate on them...

Neat... I've never seen a pan for donuts before!

Seems to save soem trouble over cutting the dough out and deep-frying them.

Are the donuts like cake donuts, or like Krispy-Kreme style?

They're more cake like.............wh ich works for me since I can't have the fried ones.......The pan I got from amazon.com.   If I can find the direct link to the pan, I'll post it here.

These look so good. I Shouldn't have the fried ones.  Oh, I'm adding calories on me by just looking at them.  Oh!!! Do they look good!!  (Did I say that already?)

what type of frosting did you use with the chocolate. I just baked some yeast donuts and they turned out great with cinnamon and sugar, but I think I want to have some frosted in chocolate too!

I had never seen a donut pan before, either. I'm going to have to get one now!
