Whoo hoo! First posting! I received my items from A2K last night! She got me The Softies Kit and two spools of 24 gauge Artistic Wire in non-tarnish silver. I'll definitely be making use of the wire for my Trees!

The Softies Kit looks like a ton of fun with embroidery thread, felt, a booklet and little full-color cards detailing projects. Everything from plushies to iPod cases. This should be fun.

Thanks A2K! Cheesy

I received two paperbag scrapbook recipe books from mommythemaid.  She stalked me good, because they are in my favorite color combos (red/turquoise and pink/brown) and some of my favorite things to make and eat (cupcakes and bento).  I love them both, and have been wondering how to make one, so now I know!!  LOL  Plus there are some YUMMY recipes I am going to try!   BTW, she had the cute idea to include some of the frosting recipes inside the pocket of the brown paper bag.

And now for the pics:  (these are the first two recipes I want to try!!  Key Lime....YUMMO!!  My favorite)

I received an AWESOME package from missgabbielynn a couple days ago but this is my first chance to get the pics off my memory card and post.

She claimed me for a rotary cutter and mat but sent a TON more. I'm in newbie sewer heaven!

Here's everything. The mat, the cutter, some stich witchery fuse tape, a Quilt-It craft kit, a pin cushion, white thread, rick rack, beaded trim, velcro and fabric!

Close ups!

(I actually used the cutter and mat last night. Wow, it's so nice. I can't believe how it goes through the fabric like butter!)

Thank you missgabbielynn! I love your package, I feel wonderfully spoiled and the cutter is already coming in handy. Grin

I have been quilting for quite some time, but I had to buy it because of the good patterns in it. Then my mom went out and bought herself one haha!

It comes with everything you need to quilt/make the pillow on the cover as well and has good instructions.

Easy for a beginner?
I have the rotary cutter from a quilting club I tried to start in high school but my sewing machine and self healing mat got stolen from the school and I never really had the chance to use it Sad
