Ever wonder how you can brighten both your mood AND lounge room in one hit? Yup, me too. In fact, that issue was constantly weighing on my mind. I've had many-a sleepless night trying to think up a solution for just that. I'm so full of shit. ANYWAY.

Yesterday I decided it would be a good idea to print out some of my favourite song lyrics of the moment and stick them up somewhere to make them smile. Once I did it, I was impressed with how cool it looked, so I did it four more times. YAY.

Step 1: Pick some of your favourite lyrics or quotes.

Step 2: Pick a favourite font and paste them onto a pretty coloured background in MS Paint (yes, I still use MS Paint- sssssh! Stop interrupting me with your schoolyard taunts!)

Step 3: Print them out in high quality on glossy paper.

Step 4: Hang them somewhere will you will see them, remember to read them and smile on a regular basis.

I like the way you've arranged the lyrics with the pictures, and the colours you've chosen. Your picture hanging device is pretty cool too!

I'm going to guess that the picture hanger is from Ikea?  I love the way you have it layed out, I would have never thought of that.  I have a couple laying in my drawer waiting to be hung...now I'm thinking of all the possibilities.   My question is, how did you get the hooks not to slide down?  Did you glue?

Now, on to your craft....Wonderful idea and they look awesome!  Thanks for sharing.

I like the zig zag effect on your line, I just did one straight across for my kids' art, but I like the vertical look.  The posters are a great idea!

DAMN, I totally missed that! Sad Ah well. Yup, the hanger is from Ikea! Gotta love it. All the other prints are from Paris.

My question is, how did you get the hooks not to slide down?  Did you glue?
Good question! Being the doofus I am, I realised that would happen after finishing drilling it all into the wall- we just pinched the tops of the hooks with a pliers and they can still move about if you like, but are holding in their spots without slipping, yay! Oh, and we only used the clip-part of the hooks, not the other little bits that come in the pack!

To the OP, this is a great idea!  And I can think of so many ways to use it!  P.S., I still use MS Paint sometimes too Grin
