isn't it a plaque and a thing you hang on the wall to hang stuff off of?

i like the bas-relief technique and the way you did the dog tags.

although i 100% agree with the part about respecting the troops... i have so many students who are ex-military and have gone through lots of stuff i can't even imagine, out of duty and love of country, the song is not a favorite of mine... mainly because i don't understand nationalism and do not feel it the way that many other americans seem to.

but i think that your items here really got the right feeling of the song.  Smiley

Very cool...my husband is deployed right now & I'd loooove to make one of those plaques with dog tagsto commemorate his SECOND year-long deployment. I'm not complaining though...my brother in law did 3, and we know someone on their 5th.

Anyway, thanks for the inspiration!!

Thank you everyone, for your wonderful compliments, this was a last hour crafting feat, The idea came to me yesterday, I went and bought the stuff last night and crafted it in two hours with 15 mins to spare to take pictures and post, On the tags are the Lyrics:

Justice will be served and the battle will rage. This big dog will fight when you rattle his cage (tag 1)

And you'll be sorry you messed with the U.s. of A (tag 2)

You got it It's a plaque and a hook

God Bless your husband, be sure to thank him for  me, Without courageous men and women like him this country wouldn't be what it is, I'll keep both of you in my prayers

These look really good! I'm assuming this is done in polymer clay? The dog tags came out really good. My fiance is currently in Iraq (this is our first deployment) and although I'm not a fan of the song, it makes it easier to know that there are people who are appreciative of the men and women who serve in our military.
