This is my first challenge!  And it was fun!   Grin

Anyway, this was for Sleeps with Butterflies by Tori Amos (obviously, it's in the subject line!).  It's mixed media.  I'm actually kind of nervous because I normally hate my artwork, so this is the first time it has been shown on the internet.  Hope you guys like it!

This is very lovely!  It's very cute and surreal at the same time.  I honestly would hang something like this on my wall!

(BTW, if this is the first time you've posted stuff, I can't wait to see more!  I think this is great!)

The whole piece is beautiful...great job!

How did you do the butterflies....are they just painted or did you use stamps or something?

Wow! That is awesome!!! I love the effect of the colorful butterflies against the black background! I also love the antennae and the sparkly blue hair! Great Job!

Thanks guys!  It took a while to get back on here since the page kept freezing up.  Susie-I actually melted crayons and punched them out.  You know, like making the "stained glass" with crayons and wax paper?  Yeah, that's how I made them!
