I made this doll a few months ago for my boyfriend's brother and his girlfriend. They are all (boyfriend included) obsessed with Henry Rollins. I don't really like him, his spoken word, or his music. Oh well. I love my guy and his family so when I saw this pattern in Stitch N Bitch Nation by Debbie Stoller, I had to make it for them for christmas.

I love the way he came out and I want to make more dolls in the future!

I used all acrylic yarn, mostly just scraps I've had for a long time. I didn't really understand the pattern, so I made some of it up, but for the most part it looks pretty similar to the example in the book. (Besides the grey hair, which I thought was a little more realistic.)

I like it!  It looks better-made than the sample doll from the book, in my opinion.
(is it my imagination or are there a batch of really pretty cupcakes in the background? Wink)

I love this little Hank, the grey color for his hair is just perfect!
