I found a well loved album which was only a couple of dollars and I knew I wanted to so something really special with it. I've had this idea in my head for a while but I really needed a push to actually make it happen. When Racky invited me to the IYP swap I knew it was the perfect opportunity.

And so, I made a book of Fairy Godmothers. To be more accurate it's a book from The Guild of Fairy Godmothers which is a terribly big deal and very, very fancy Cheesy

It's filled with strangers I love... photo's I've collected over the past year and a half. I've given many of the fine ladies stories and awards for their godmotherly deeds. Inside there were a few more treats for Racky... positive words from the Inspiration Godmothers, lovely bits of paper, flowers.

Really, it's a book about magic. Not fake magic... real magic. For me, this was sort of a way to make other people feel the wonder that I'm so fortunate to have in my life. Anywho, if you want a better look at the pages, to read the stories of all my fine ladies, you can take a look at the entire book at http://labonadea.com/etcetera_fgodmother01.html

This is definitely one of the best things that I've seen in all the years I've been here.

Its one of those pieces that sure, you could copy it and make more, but only the first one will hold the real magic. Racky's a very lucky girl.

Thanks folks. It took wayyyy longer than I thought it would to finish (though I could tinker forever) but it was well worth it in the end and I enjoyed every minute.

I am so deeply and utterly in love with this!  Looking at the post drew me to your webpage where I lingered for *ages*, and I ended up passing it on to a few friends.  Stunningly beautiful work.  Rocked and Wisted.
