This is what I make on chilly winter nights in the middle of a busy week. It's easy, delicious and very wholesome!  I just buy (or bake a dough boy) loaf of French Bread and call it dinner!

1 quart of beef broth
1 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1/2 tsp. dried sweet marjoram
1/4 cup dried minced onion
1/2 cup Chardonnay
1 lb. smoked sausage or kielbasa, cut into fork-size chunks

1 can each, undrained, of:

Diced tomatoes
Great Northern Beans
Black Beans
French Style Green Beans
Whole Kernel Corn

(You can use any beans you like)

Put everything in your dutch oven and simmer 15-20 minutes, until sausage is tender and onions reconstitute.  Stir and skim the foam from time to time.  You can thicken this with a little flour and water if you like.

***If you use regular canned broth, beans and corn, you do not need salt!!!

Enjoy!
