or b) want to de-stash supplies or
or c) enjoy making things for other people
...then this swap is for you! It's a lot like the Ongoing Wish Swap, except instead of posting what you want to receive, you'll post what you want to give. To join you must have at least five things that you have made/would like to make/want to trade.
This is an ongoing swap, feel free to join up at any time this month! To join, first send a Personal Message to organizer Eliea with the following questionnaire info. Once you are approved, you are free to claim
something(ie one item)
from the
most recent list posted
, and then post your own list.
...and that's it, basically Cheesy
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you want to participate, information to send to organizer:
QUESTIONNAIRE TO ANSWER:
Name of swap:Ongoing Offer What You Have Swap - March 09
Craftster username:
Email address:
Your real name:
Mailing address including the country:
Would you be willing to ship to an address outside your own country? (you must be to join):
Confirm that are at least 13 years old (and please mention how old you are if under 18) (yes/no):
Your list of at least five items (crafts you can make/have ready-made or details of supplies you wish to offer), detailed description not necessary:
Have you read the swap info (in this post) carefully and commit to follow the rules of the swap?:
IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE, REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR INFO TO ORGANIZER VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE AND NOT TO REPLY WITH IT HERE.
Also remember to read the Swap Info Guide to find out how to ship your item and other details about participating in a swap.
http://craftster.org/swapsinfo.html
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is an ongoing swap:
Claim an item from the list of the last person who posted,
and post your own list in response.
It makes a chain.
When we get to the end of the month, the very last person to post a list will be the first person to post a list at the beginning of the next month, if Craftsters decide to organize a new round at that time.
At the top of your claim post, state how many claims you have made this month, and how many of those are outstanding (i.e. the recipient has not yet received the item).
Claims Allowed (Outstanding):3
Claims made so far: 4
Sendouts Not Sent:1
Sendouts Sent:2
Sendouts in Transit:1
Sendouts Received:1
Remember your outstanding claim limit for this round:
Friend of Craftster: Three (become a Friend of Craftster!)
First-Time Swapper: One
Everyone Else: Two
This is how many pending at a time you may have. As soon as one of your packages is received then you may claim again.
Your list of offerings:
if your list stays up for more than 48 hours before someone claims from it, you must add something to it. You can also allow claimers to add more items together to make a claim (i.e. they don't seem to be biting on your earrings, so now they can take two pairs for a single claim instead of just one.) If you are having trouble coming up with stuff to add, consider offering a small item to be custom made for the person who claims from you. This can be conditioned on using stash items if you wish. Remember that it must be something that you can complete in two weeks, unless your partner agrees otherwise.
Once someone claims from you, you have
two weeks
to get the package in the mail. Please contact the organizer by personal message when you send the package and when you receive a package so everyone gets credit.
ALSO: Please make sure to post to the discussion thread so you stay up on any updates!
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=290379.0
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Do not sign up unless you are willing to send outside of your country.
Check out the previous rounds if you need help figuring out the scope of what to put on your list. It is typically in the $5-$15 range, from a half a yard to a couple yards of fabric depending on weight and fanciness, crafted accessories, grab bags of yarn, beads, buttons and notions, things of that nature.
Photos and the Gallery:
Whenever possible, include pictures of the items you're offering in your posts. When you receive, it is important for you to thank your partner, be courteous and communicative, but a lot of the items are premade or stash, so posting pictures in the Gallery isn't crucial. The exception to this is when something is custom-made for you in this swap. And if you make something with supplies you receive in this swap, we want to see it!
Delivery Confirmation numbers are mandatory for people in the U.S. sending to other people in the U.S., and everyone else must keep their receipts.
This round of the swap will close around midnight, on the official Craftster clock, March 31st. Feedback will be given on March 1st for all participants who have no pending claims. Everyone whose packages haven't been received will get feedback once the package reaches its destination.
Reminders/Summary:
1.
Make sure to PM me and who you sent to when you send out, with DC number if you are both in US.
2.
Make sure to PM me and who you receive from when you receive.
3. As soon as you claim something from someone, shoot them a PM with your address so that they have it and don't have to chase you down later.
4.
Lets keep this swap moving, Please try to stay on top of adding new things/combining items into one claim if your list stays up more than a couple days, or the organizer will hunt you down and remind you.
5. Post pics in the gallery if someone makes you something custom or you make something from supplies you receive.
6. Lets try to keep this thread for lists as much as possible to save on confusion. If your list is up, you may post a "bump" after you have added something new/combined your items, but otherwise please try to post all questions/comments/requests/whatever into our discussion thread.

Thank you for approving me. I claim onyx bracelet and birdhouse pendant please.
MY LIST
The bags I make are of different sizes. I always write approximate size next to the descriptions (measured laying flat). Make sure to read!
Pick 1!
Patchwork skulls and skeleton (and some other stuff
) tote. Could be carried over your shoulder. A striking mix of bold fabrics, about 11"x12".
The lacybag. Shoulderbag. Not a very sturdy kind of bag (as you can see from photo), but good looking.
I like how this one turned out. It's patchwork and added vintage lace. The lining has a subtle flower pattern. Measures about 15"x13".
...or pick 2!
Cross stitch kits to make angels with ribbons and all sort of stuff. 1/2 claim per kit!
Traditional Swedish glass troll, about 2" tall, heavy and could be used as a paper weight. It has an inscription on the back, apparently some kind of SAAB commercial message, but that is only visible from the back (image 3). Really difficult to get a good picture of this one.
Retro looking cotton fabric with big flowers, bursting with colour. You get about 60" x 18" for half a claim.
Crocheted necklace with bobbles! Red wine and champagne!
Can be worn in several different ways.
A lovely nest brooch that I won in a scavenger hunt swap once. Unfortunately I don't wear brooches, so I would love for someone else to get it.
A mouse pad!
Just a plain simple red mouse pad. I bought these some time ago and meant to do something crafty with them (some kind of frames or something), but never really got around to it. A few of them available if you want to claim two.
Stretchable book covers! Claimed these in some swap, but haven't used since, so they will have to go (have to get rid of stuff!). Never opened. 1/2 claim each.
Below are stamp booklet covers, i.e. the stamps are taken out, but some of the covers are really nice, I think. Maybe someone could use them for some kind of paper art. Size approximately 2 1/2" x 6" (when unfolded like below). Pick 8 for 1/2 claim or all of them for 1 claim.
Free with claim!
Pick one of these fabric scraps free with any claim! They are all IKEA fabrics and they are about 1-2 FQs in size, but the shapes are irregular (not like FQs)...

I claim gavagai for the crochet necklace with bobbles and 8 stamp booklets (#5, 7, 8, 9, 15, 16, 17, 18). I'll take the free FQ with the blue background/orange flowery things too.
Claims Allowed (Outstanding): 3
Claims made so far: 1
Sendouts Not Sent:0
Sendouts Sent:0
Sendouts in Transit:0
Sendouts Received:0
Pick One:
Matryoshka zipper pouch. It's 7" long, about 3 inches tall and 1.5 inches across the base. It's lightly interfaced and lined with coordinating dot fabric. It's more sturdy and cute in person than in the picture. It also comes with 2 matching pinback buttons.
6 crocheted sweater ornaments. I made these for a craft show and they just didn't sell. All are acrylic (except the green one, which is cotton) and all are unique. The red one on the end has bobbles across the chest, the green one has a button, and the aqua/red one is 2 strands of yarn so it's kind of bulky. All of them are on a handmade wire hanger. They're about 4" tall.
1.5 yards of pink/cream/glittery houndstooth. I'm not sure about the fiber content, but it's heavy and a little bit of a loose weave. I think it would be very cute for a jumper for a little girl. There are flecks of shimmery thread in the weave. The penny is for size reference.
1 yard (12 frames) of Saint fabric. It's cotton with shimmery accents. Frames are about 11" tall.
pick 2:
Bunny zipper pouch. It's about 4" tall, 1.5" wide and 7" long and fully lined and topstitched. It's also heavily interfaced. It could be good for an Easter present.
Project runway pattern for a tunic top, size 12-20. New.
15 Strathmore blank cards and envelopes. They're creamy colored with light pink on the deckled edges. The paper is pretty heavy and the package says it's good for watercolor and drawing.
Free with any claim:
Just tell me in your PM if you want it.
A book about collecting US state quarters and other coins. It was published before all of the designs for the coins were finalized and is outdated in a lot of ways, but has information about each state.

I'll claim the saints fabric, and I would also like the state quarters book (I'm finally almost finished collecting)
Claims Allowed (Outstanding): 2

Here is my list:
PICK ONE:
Purse made of (...I don't know what this material is called, but hopefully you can tell by the picture)
It velcros at the top to stay closed, and it is brand new from Mexico, but I just need a much larger purse with long shoulder straps.
This is from Thailand, a really pretty beaded elephant bag (I think this could be used as a children's purse or a camera bag or a change purse...or whatever you want) It zips closed at the top and has a long strap on it to easily fit over your shoulder.
Make your own sock monkey kit. I will include socks, eyes, instructions, and clothes
Eraser clay
Most of the colors are unopened, and it comes with a rolling tool.
Sorry about the blurry picture. A bracelet and a necklace. Choose one as 1/2 a claim or both as 1 claim.
GRAB BAG! Some assorted beads (more than the ones pictured), buttons (pins), trinkets, maybe some pieces of fabric, lots of fun things!
PICK TWO:
Tupperware of ponybeads. Includes some glow in the dark and sparkle ones.
Size XXS shirt with beautiful beaded neckline. I think this could be used to make something like a purse.
Hello Kitty fuzzy poster kit. Includes 2 posters
Size RR (14-20 United States, 40-46 Europe) Halloween costume pattern
Vintage knitting book. Includes pictures and instructions for about 10 projects.

Claims Allowed (Outstanding): 1
Claims made so far: 1

Claim One
Claim one form this list and one from the second list
Ice Lolly Plushies
A-Dazzle B-Nibble C-Munch
Ice lolly plushies made from felt, buttons and beads and stuffed with poly, measures 17x9 cms.
Cupcake Plushies
A-Carmen B-Cassandra
Cupcake plushies made from felt, buttons and beads and stuffed with poly, measures 9x9x5 cms, both have a slightly different design, prefer Carmen's shape but like Cassandra's face.
Felt Food
My next project is going to be to make some felt food, so if anyone would like a felt food playset I would be more than happy to make one for them as part of a claim. You can pick the items or just ask for a surprise, whatever would be best for you, as I have a few ideas myself.
Claim Two
Claim Three
Ring Pincushions
Bottle cap pin cushion rings, they have a loop of elastic underneath to wear them on your finger while you sew, penny is for size.
Felt Brooches
Felt with brooch backs, I would we willing to make brooches on request, just let me know if there is anything you would like.
Added the ice cream brooch, just made this one and like it the best so far.
Princess Cards
Not sure if I am allowed to say the dreaded word in case of copyright but these are based on Disney princess outfits, decorated with beads and have envelopes. Snow White, Cinderella, Ariel, Aurora.
Birthday Cards
Various birthday cards, some inspired by Strictly Come Dancing outfits, which I think are amazing! Again, I am happy to fill any requests for cards or particular outfits in this style.
Sparkle Headband
Is actually a bit brighter turquoise than the picture suggests, sparkle net tulle with elastic so that it will stretch to fit any head.

I would like to claim 2 ring pin cushions and a birthday card. (The 2 middle pin cushions and the top middle birthday card)
Claims Allowed (Outstanding): 2
Claims made so far: 2
Sendouts Not Sent: 0
Sendouts Sent: 1
Sendouts in Transit: 0
Sendouts Received: 0
Here is my list:
PICK ONE:
Bag, this has long shoulder straps and a zipped section on the inside.
Sock monkey...although I rather think he looks like a cow
Make your own sock monkey kit. I will include 2 pairs of socks (one as pictured and one with pink heels), eyes, instructions, and clothes for both monkeys
GRAB BAG!
Some assorted beads (at least 5 tubes and some bead soup and findings), 1 inch buttons (pins), trinkets, maybe some pieces of fabric, goodies, lots of fun things! (Note, this is one claim, but if you want you can pick grab bag as part of the pick 2 or pick three, you just won't get as much in it.)
This is a mate container. It is a type of tea you can read about it here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yerba_mat%C3%A9
The container is made from a real gourd, and I think it would be awesome to paint, but its also pretty cool the way it is. The straw is metal and has little holes in it so that you get the liquid but not the tea leaves.
PICK TWO:
This is from Thailand, a really pretty beaded elephant bag (I think this could be used as a children's purse or a camera bag or a change purse...or whatever you want) It zips closed at the top and has a long strap on it to easily fit over your shoulder.
Size XXS shirt with beautiful beaded neckline. I think this could be used to make something like a purse.
Sorry about the blurry picture. A bracelet and a necklace. Choose
both
as 1/2 a claim. I can also make you jewelry, for 1 claim I will give you a set (necklace, bracelet, and earrings) or pick 2 as 1/2, 1 as 1/3 claim.
(I found some more of the ones that got claimed, so yes, I still have all of them to offer.
)
Free with claim!
Pick one of these fabric scraps free with any claim! They are all IKEA fabrics and they are around 1-2 FQs in size, but the shapes can be very irregular (not like FQs)...

Here is my list of goodies – I have a whole bunch of stuff at my house in Oxford, but I’m staying with my mum for a week in Scotland so this is the stuff I have here. I’ll post with the pics of my Oxford stuff if no-one claims from this list, but bear in mind that I can’t send that stuff till Monday 30th March. This stuff is good to go right now though!
WORTH ONE CLAIM:
(1) 2metres (metre = bit more than a yard) of green Virgin of Guadeloupe cotton fabric. I was going to make my Catholic aunt a present, but never got round to it. Yes, I’m Jewish. Yes, it’s a long story.
(2) 4 metres of blue Virgin card fabric (2m + 2m)
(3) “Oh! My God! I Miss You” Postcard Book with 30 creepy-cute postcards by the Japanese artist Yoshitomo Nara. Originally £6.99. As new, with it’s price label still on.
(6) Huge grab-bag of paper ephemera and card-making supplies – the card toppers are all in their original packaging, untouched, many even have their price labels still on. There’s about £12 worth of stuff here.
Big picture of everything you’ll get:
And some close-ups for you to see better:
(7) Beading Around the World Book (not a how-to), and 2 beading magazines
MULTIPLE CLAIMS:
(8 ) Finished Beaded Work/Jewellery
Here is a bunch of my jewellery/beading:
The headband on the left is store-bought with rhinestones, and still has it’s tag on. Think it was £5 once. = 0.5 claim
The other headband (shown here in close-up) I made, with crystals and genuine grey pearls. = 0.5 claim
Beaded dog phone charm, summer charm bracelet, silver bracelet with red charm cluster, daisychain bracelet, Green Man beaded panel (good to stick on a notebook or card), cat beaded panel. = 0.25 claim EACH
(9) Holy Toast = 0.5 claim
This is a toast stamper, unused gift (long story) (product info here -
http://www.perpetualkid.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1585
)
(10) Blue loose-crocheted triangular scarf (not made by me), unused. = 0.5 claim
(11) Black bag with Adam and Eve pattern. I’m sure someone with more time than me could do something cool with this. It’s new and unused. = 0.5 claim
(12) Collection of Girl Guide Patches, for anyone you wants to make a camp blanket/jacket/poncho etc, or use in other craft projects. I’ve included a 5p for scale – it’s roughly the size of a dime. I have a lot more so could do you a bigger bag for a 1 claim/0.75 of a claim.
What you see here = 0.5 claim
(13) Large Stuffie pattern, uncut
= 0.5 claim

I would like to claim #8 grass heart brooch and #17 Crocheted necklace please
Claims Allowed (Outstanding): 2
Claims made so far: 2
Sendouts Not Sent: 0

Sendouts Received: 1
Here is my list:
PICK ONE:
You pick 20 custom 1 inch buttons, or 10 for 1/2 claim, or 5 for 1/4 claim. You can email me pictures and I will make the buttons out of them
Bag, this has long shoulder straps and a zipped section on the inside.
Sock monkey...although I rather think he looks like a cow, but he is very soft
PICK TWO:
Pattern, never cut, size AA (US 6-8-10-12)
This is from Thailand, a really pretty beaded elephant bag (I think this could be used as a children's purse or a camera bag or a change purse...or whatever you want) It zips closed at the top and has a long strap on it to easily fit over your shoulder.
Size XXS shirt with beautiful beaded neckline. I think this could be used to make something like a purse.
Sorry about the blurry picture. A bracelet and a necklace. Choose
both
as 1/2 a claim. I can also make you jewelry, for 1 claim I will give you a set any 4 of the following (necklace, bracelet, earrings, anklet, glasses cord, keychain, cell phone charm) or pick 2 as 1/2, 1 as 1/4 claim. I have so many types of beads, but a lot of pearls, czech glass, swarovksi crystal, and silver claps and beads. Tell me what you like and we can figure something out.
Flannel fabric with the Eiffel tower and poodles. It also has names of the poodles (like coco and fifi). There is about 1/2 yard here.
Wristlet pattern, never cut
Magnetic bracelets (1/2 claim each), can also be worn as bolo style necklaces. These are basically one size fits all because it depends on how you line up the magnets as to how big or small it is.
PICK FOUR:
Mexican Flag bracelet, the beads are wooden and its elastic
Tupperware of ponybeads. Includes some glow in the dark and sparkle ones.
Small decorative flowers, 6 pieces total
Hello Kitty fuzzy poster kit. Includes 2 posters
"Made with love" and "Made for you" beads. These are metal and I think there are about 20 pieces, although the package doesn't say.
Size RR (14-20 United States, 40-46 Europe) Halloween costume pattern
Vintage knitting book. Includes pictures and instructions for about 10 projects, I can post pictures of the inside pages if someone is interested.
This is...artificial silk maybe? I'm not sure, but it seems like a cotton blead, one side is shiny and the wrong side isn't. There is about 1 yard.
Red and white ribbon, this is new, it is 5/8" and 9 ft.

cherry lipgloss kit, including all you see!
beer bottlecaps, rough count 70

I would like to claim lot 1 please. (Also I am still interested in that personal swap for more.
)
Claims Allowed (Outstanding): 3
Claims made so far: 3
Sendouts Not Sent: 1
Sendouts Sent: 1
Sendouts in Transit: ? (what does this mean?)
Sendouts Received: 1 (this is not yet noted in the first post, but FlashleyAshley received. I hope it is o.k. to claim again then? Otherwise I am sorry.)
MY LIST
Pick 1
Big flower fabric! all cotton. The piece measures about 60" x 40" and in the picture you can see about half of it.
Fabric piece, a bit sturdier/thicker cotton that the one above. Autumny leaves. About 60" x 44". The fabric has a cut in it from one side about 6" into the fabric. Picture shows a bit less than half of the fabric.
...or pick 2!
50 used old Swedish stamps. There might be a couple of duplicates in there. (The one at the bottom left is of a woman making bobbin lace by the way.)
Set of four big American Disney stamps (used). Great condition!
10 big cats on big stamps. From all over the world!
20 Japanese stamps, used on paper. Beautiful! Hello Kitty, landscapes and more...
Cross stitch kits to make angels with ribbons and all sort of stuff. 1/2 claim per kit!
Like a tote bag without handles, "winter landscape". Could be used as a small waste basket for the sewing table. About 9" x 8".
Like a tote bag without handles, "winter sparks". The fabric is sparkly, which doesn't really show in the picture. Could be used as a small waste basket for the sewing table. About 9" x 8".
(I have more of this, so it's listed again.)
Pick 4 of these or 2 plus one of the "pick 2" items above!
These are bookmarks I guess, made of thick paper (cardboard?). They are made up of two eggs that can be taken out (perforated edges) and used for decoration or crafting. The text on the back says "Have a hard boiled easter!" in Swedish. You can see both sides of the bookmark above. Make sure to look closely at the eggs! (Sorry about the poor picture quality, especially on the egg on the right, looks much smoother in reality.)
Below are Swedish stamp booklet covers, i.e. the stamps are taken out, but some of the covers are really nice, I think. Maybe someone could use them for some kind of paper art. Size approximately 2 1/2" x 6" (when unfolded like below). Pick 8 for 1/2 claim or all of them for 1 claim. (I found some more of the ones that got claimed, so yes, I still have all of them to offer.
)
Free with claim!
Pick one of these fabric scraps free with any claim! They are all IKEA fabrics and they are around 1-2 FQs in size, but the shapes can be very irregular (not like FQs)...
