Ilove Butterick! The fit is right, the pattern are well explained and easy to sew.
Here is a dress from the 5130 dresses pattern, I feel like Juliette inside, even if I have the double of this lady Capulet's age.

But I shorten the dress after the photo-shoot, now it's a very cute top and I really love it. Here's the photo, ignore my pseudo-artistic delirium:

the dress is beautiful! It looks really comfy too. Is it a knit fabric? I'm definitely putting this pattern on my "to buy" list!

It's lovely! I have the pattern and yards of jersey. I was wondering how it would turn out. I will be making this soon I think!

Eliea, it is a knit dress, it would'nt work with a non stretchy fabric. Don't hesitate, it is really easy aned very comfy.

I love that dress! Looks very nice on you, and on the pattern sheet. Looks a bit complicated with all the channels, so props to you!

Wonderful! I have quite a bit I've saved from the 1.00 rack or swapped for so I'm stocked up! Smiley This looks like it would be a great first knit fabric item!

I'm sure it is more "wearable" as a top, but it was a really beautiful dress!
