So let me start by saying that this is my first challenge! ... and my project did not turn out exactly how I would have hoped it would ... or as good as I was hoping for.  I became pressed for time so I had to skip a lot of the details that I planned to include.  This was my first time embroidering (if thats what you can call the attempt that I made!)  I chose "Watching the Wheels" by John Lennon.  The middle is his face and he is dreaming of peace ... the line in the song that I picked to focus on was 'People say I'm lazy dreaming my life away".   I was inspired by the picture of John lennon that I posted below.  I changed the lens of his glasses to tires since the song is called watching the wheels and I made the tiny thought  bubbles shaped like flowers. I just embroidered right onto a t-shirt.  I hope you guys like what I came up with, hopefully I will be able to go back and focus on the detail another time.  I hope this all makes sense ... I'm pretty tired!

great embroidery!!  i'm not skilled at embroidering at all but it even looks like you used various different types of stitches.

also i was impressed that i could tell it was john lennon before reading the text.

creative criticism always appreciated!
