I know everyone and their Other Mother has done this, but here's my Coraline doll!

1) My Coraline doll! Please note that at the time I made this I had not seen the movies yet, but was a fan of the book. The only influence of the movies was the blue hair, which is kinda rad.
2) Also the clothes she has on I didn't make, they're old doll clothes.
3) Here's the doll... nekkid. I had to show the body off, and I'm bad at doll clothing...
4) Pirouette! Or... pleae? is that even how you spell it? Whatever.
5) Her face. I'm so proud of how her mouth turned out. I used embroidery thread for the 'organic' parts (the back of the hair and the mouth) and thick black rug thread for the 'unnatural' eyes, mouth stitching and Corlaine.
6) Back of her head. Hair turned out great
7) Stitching details. This doll in 100% stitched by hand
8 ) Shiny black buttons...
9) I'm pretty happy with how the letters came out. As for the placement... I swear to god it was much higher in the original planning, but the way it ended up being sewn and stuffed, if I even try to show it to people it feels knda pervy. Eh, whatever.

Also, this marks my loss of craft posting virginity! Lets hope I get around to putting some other stuff up as well.

Adorable!  I love Coraline so much!  I have been toying around the idea of making the little ragdoll from the movie, the one that's made to look just like Coraline.

Your interpretation of her is very cute!

You should! We'll have an army!

That rag doll was cute (I'm glad I made my doll before seeing the movie or it would have totally corrupted how I made my doll) but I'm so intimidated by the hair. Yarn hair looks tricky.

Great job on your Coraline! I love the poufy blue outfit, hehe. I'm tackling a crochet version of her for a friend's birthday later this month and hope it turns out as well as yours!
