Highbrow hobo-with some alterations...

I saw the pear bag on here and said I have to have that bag for our upcoming trip. I bought the owl fabric awhile back but couldn't decide what style of bag I wanted to use it for. The Highbrow Hobo looked just perfect...I can see that I need to add another row of stitching on my bias tape...I was afraid I wouldn't catch it in places so I went rather high up...Hope you like it and thanks to U-handbag and meg for the inspiration! A close up of the fabric just because I love it so much...I also made the bias tape for it...almost did green but in the end the pink won out!

It does not have a name but after searching in ebay I see that it comes in Blue (not nearly as pretty) and I also found that there are lots of other fabrics out there I need....I mean want...one ebayer said it was from Royal Fabrics but google did not turn anything similar up so...I will keep looking!

Yes, I found it very easy to follow. However, I did my lining differently because I wanted to add the bias around the top of the bag. There are lots of illustrations to follow also! Go for it! It came to a little of $6 with the US conversion. Well worth it!

Great bag!! I used the fabric as a liner in a clutch. I love it too!! As do others, I see.
