I'm sure you have at least a slight idea of what I've crafted going by the title alone.   Wink

shouldn't be hard to forget: a black horse and a cherry tree...kinda.  my original pattern had the horse standing in front of the tree's trunk, but my brown is called dark chocolate and the shade was too close to the black that it would have all just created one dark mess.  so I just used the tree branches.

this is a combination of the Little Mermaid wall hanging I did a while back and an idea I had for a necklace I needed to make to go with a pair of earrings I already made.

I loved this song from the minute I heard it.  no real meaning, I just loved the beat and the sound.

I hope you like it.   Smiley

thank you so much!

I'd been wanting to make a cherry branch-like necklace and this challenge gave me a great excuse to finally do it.  Smiley

I plan to start showing it off once the weather is nicer.   Smiley

looking at it makes me hope and pray that my little cherry tree survived the winter.  I'm so nervous about it.  but looking at this will keep me happy until mine finally blooms.   Grin

and thanks again!

That is great! I want to learn to bead. I love the branches, a whole sprawling necklace of that would be beautiful.

which is what I still plan to do one day.   Wink

and thanks!  OH!  if you want a great book on this type of beading, get this: http://www.amazon.com/Encyclopedia-Beading-Techniques-Sara-Withers/dp/076242043X.  it taught me everything I know.  this was the best book out of the 3 that I bought on bead weaving (Idiot's Guide, For Dummies and this).  it was worth every penny.
