It took me 3 little pairs of shoes to finally get them to the point where I was satisfied!  They have a non-skid nubby bonded fleece sole.  Thanks for looking!  More details are at http://janmade.com/2009/03/02/experimenting-with-tiny-clothes/

Good job Smiley Is "non-skid nubby bonded fleece" the technical term for it? I haven't been able to find it for sale anywhere.

thank you!  actually, how i came about finding it was going to joanns and asking the lady at the cutting table if they had "the nubby fabric that was at the bottom of footie pajamas for kids."  When I was looking online, someone called it "bonded fleece"  but googling that term and asking for it by that name didn't get me any results.  If it helps it was over by the muslin in a section they had called "utility fabrics" and it comes on a short roll, but I can't remember the brand name that was on the roll.  And it was 3.95/yd.  Hope that helps, sorry I couldn't be more specific.

I don't know the brand name, but at my JoAnns, they keep it behind the counter with the interfacing and such. I actually asked for the same thing....the grippy stuff on the feet of PJ's and they knew just what I needed.

Those are precious!

Where did you get the non-skid fabric? I've been looking to make some footie pajamas and can't find it at my fabric store or Wal-mart.

I just got back from Ben Franklin, I'm not sure if anyone else has one nearby. I live in a pretty small town and it is the local craftstore.  Anyways....I bought a package of the nubby skid stuff.  It is called "Jiffy Grip" and was $2.75 for an 11 1/4"x24" piece.  (they are kind of pricey in Ben Franklin, but they do have some pretty good quality stuff).  It is made my Stable Sewing Ads Corp and by looking at the packaging, it has been around for some time.  Hope that helps!
