I got this amazing bookmaking package from EowynUlysses the other day and it's so perfect!

Here's the whole shebang!

Lots of tools of the trade:

Including a paper cutter, which I've wanted for some time!

But the most beautiful paper is what really got me *swoon* It's all so me! And I especially love that so much of it is repurposed (like the old maps!)

She also made two books to show different binding techniques but I forgot to take pictures. Sad

Thanks so much! This swap has been wonderful, I hope there is another round. Smiley

Okay. I totally thought I posted pictures. Apparently I'm losing my mind. I'm so sorry, RangerBeth. I'll do it this evening.

Edit: Photos!!

The button necklace:

One side of the slide charm

The other...

The book

The jewelry card kit

The supplies and gummi bear earrings

So I can make my own slide necklace

I had an amazing package waiting on my front step from doo_leroux when I got home from work tonight! I'm so excited to start embrodering!!

and here is a close-up of the awesome instructions book she made me!

She included a thread organizer, a pack of needles, a plastic hoop, 14 skeins of floss, a pack of floss bobbins, 4 packages of patterns--all really cute!!--a tea towel, two pillow cases, the awesome instruction booklet, and a very awesome Decemberists-esque patch to embroder! I can't wait to get started! Thank you for spoiling me so much, doo_leroux!!

Hooray, I'm glad you got it! I've been worried that the oh-so-reliable USPS would lose it. D:

I received today from doyouloveanapple.  She made me a double kit - one for wet felting and one for needle felting (and I sent her a learn to crochet kit).  Look at all the cool stuff she sent!  I am so spoiled!

Gorgeous roving, templates for making a wet felted purse with embellishments, all the necessary tools, stuff to make needle felted sushi (squee!), and candy (which I am eating as I type this)!  I love chocolate from Canada and Europe - soooo much better than the chocolate here.   Cheesy

And check out this very cool handmade instruction book - I absolutely love the drawings in it!

Thank you thank you THANK YOU doyouloveanapple.  I absolutely love the kit you made for me.  The colors are perfect and I am really looking forward to trying out this new craft!  (And the idea of felted sushi just cracks me up!  I can hardly wait to see how it comes out!)
