I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here is a picture of a box that I made to hold my knitting supplies.  I'm a beginner knitter and struggling to find the patience to continue.  The box is just a plain wooden box and the letters are the wood letters in the craft section and your local walmart.  I just painted it up and there ya go!

Let me know how cute it is!!!   Tongue

That's an awesome box. I have one basket for yarn, but of course it's already overflowing. So now I have that basket plus three sacks full sitting around my night table.

Trust me, it gets easier!

That's so cute! I've been looking for something for mine since my mother's is older than I am and a)overflowing without my stuff and b) falling apart. I will have to try it. And I hope that you find the patience to keep knitting!

I made a sew basket, using s-e-w, but all lowercase.  I glued the letters onto an actual basket instead of the wooden box.  They didn't hold up well, fell off really easily.  You need to use wood glue with the letters and make sure that you are gluing them to a flat surface.
