Here's some pictures of my 2nd quilt.  I completed the top in less than a week.  It's really super simple though.  I just wanted to make something, fast, that I could use.  Let me know what you guys think!  I love comments!  Smiley

Here's a close up of the quilt and the backing.  I really love the contrast of the pink stitches on a lime green fabric.

Let me know if you like it!

Aww, thank you for replying.  I've been sitting here just about to fall out of the chair from exhaustion because I'm so proud of it and have been waiting for a reply.  Now, I can finally sleep.  Smiley  Thanks.

Hey - is that rick rack on the backing?

The colors are awesome!!  I love seeing traditional quilts in nontraditional colors!!!

I love it. I used similar colors in a patchwork I did a few years ago. The contrast is excellent. Yours turned out way better though. Did you do a zigzag quilting?

Love the combo of bright pinks with the lime background.  Beautiful quilt!

AntB-No, it's not rick rack...although that would be tres cute.  It's just simple zig zag stitching with hot pink thread.

Ezri B-Guess that answers your question too.  It's just zig zag stitching!

Thanks for all of the comments guys.  Usually when I post something I don't get too many replies.  It really encourages me to do more.  Thanks!!  Smiley

Great quilt!

I really like the zig-zage stitching. Still easy and fast but adds a little extra something. I'm always trying to find a happy medium between my laziness and my desire for interesting touches. I can't believe I didn't think of it myself.    Well, I can, but I WISH I could think of these things myself.

I had to chuckle at what elysium said. I was thinking the exact same thing. I love to make home made, from the heart things, but I am an immediate gratification person. The zigzag looks incredible and adds so much more than a simple stitch would. I will most definitely be doing this!
