I can't knit but I saw the photo of your dog and HAD to respond to this. Is that a soft-coated wheaten terrior puppy! He (or she?) is soooo adorable!!!  Kiss

He's SO cute!!
I have a 1 year old shih tzu Chloe, who I would love to make a sweater for. I have never made anything quite this complicated.
I may choose a different pattern...I'll go on a hunt

Your baby is so cute! I'm trying to learn to knit, so I think that would be too complicated for me to tackle now, besides my shih tzu does not like to wear clothes (nudey pup!).  Best of luck and post pics when its done!

Adorable! I'd love to join you in a pet sweater knitalong if you decide to make another one. I have a mini-doxie that is need of some more warm snuggly outfits.

I have 2 great danes and a lab too but knitting sweaters for them takes FOREVER!!

This is adorable!! I honestly wasn't that thrilled with the one on Knitty but I love yours! The colors are awesome. What kind and color yard did you use?

it was a self stripping yarn. I dont remember what kind of yarn exactly because i bought it like 8000 years ago. Something i changed from the knitty pattern, more by accident than anything, was making the neck section longer and then folded it over into a collar.
