I confess this isn't my very favorite song ever but I like it a lot and it's the one I had an idea for. I originally imagined this as a series of hearts representing all the kinds of love but after reading through the lyrics again I came up with the idea of a late night cafe.

Going from left to right, top to bottom the panels represent lines from the song:
1. When the only sound on the empty street
is the heavy tread of the heavy feet

This was fun but not quite what I hoped. I really wanted to illustrate "every love but true love" but couldn't come up with anything that really worked. I was inspired by Eric Drooker who did "Illuminated Poems" an amazing volume that illustrates some of Allen Ginsberg's poems.
I enjoyed doing this and looking at all the other cool projects. Now maybe I can tackle some of my other favorites like "Our Hearts will beat as One", "What I'm looking for", "Under African Skies", "Satisfied Mind". . .
