I was bouncing with excitement over this when I found out!  (How can you not when you find a great excuse to buy more buttons?)

I'm so starting on this project tomorrow!

Step One - Fire up glue gun.
Step Two - Find the cat....ha, ha. I don't have a cat. (Kidding, really, I love animals...just not cats, achoo!)

HAHA!  I thought about saying, "Decorate an INANIMATE object," but last time we did that, we had to define inanimate approximately 50 times, so I just avoided it this time and hoped it was assumed.

No goldfish, cats, gerbils...

Hooooooboy - I had to finally register as a Craftster member just so I could do this challenge!  A custom sewing shop in my area closed over the weekend (boo!) and I bought ALL her buttons (yay!) so now I definitely need that book to figure out what on earth to do with them all.  I already know exactly what I'm going to decorate, too.

Quick question; can you modify (other than adding buttons) the existing item you're using.  For example, if you're adding buttons to a box, can you paint it before hand, or chop the sleeves off a shirt to make it sleeveless (and add buttons)?

Sure!  I think it's okay to modify the object a bit for your entry.

I'm so in on this one.  I have had this idea, bought the buttons, and wondered when I would have the time...now is the time!!!

I have a question about these challenges...I started a project for March's challenge, but didn't finish it in time...do you still post your progress?
