Pendant made with seedbeads in two shades of blue and silver, surrounding a dropshaped sodalite cabochon. The 'chain' is rat-tail, but I haven't cut it up yet.

The base is the Swedish equivalent to ultrasuede, I think, but the one I used for this pendant was a little to soft and that made the lines a bit... crocked :/ Well well.. learning as I go ^v^

Here its semi-modeled by the cat, Syntax, who always (always!) sleeps on a third of my beading-space when I'm there.

c&c please... Does it look as... crocked as I think it does?

This is amazing! (And not crooked at all). How did you do it? I use seed beads all the time but have never managed anything as neat as this. Much love!

Clockwork: Haha, well thank you! I guess the key is practise. And maybe sneaking a few tips from others ^^

'The art of Bead Embroidery' by Sherry Serafini and Heidi Kummli, and 'Beading with cabochons' by Jamie Cloud Eakin provides endless of inspiration, tips on backings and techniques!

Good luck Cheesy

A lot of seed bead items remind me of girl scouts or cheap moccassins but this is really lovely.  I hope to see more of your creations.
