This is a bag I made for my partner in the Tote/Clutch/Handbag swap.  I went into the swap with the idea that I'd make a tote from crocheted panels using a paisley motif that I've wanted to try for a while, but when I got my partner she said that she'd prefer a sewn bag, and that she liked clean lines and mod style.  She did say that she liked Indian influenced designs though, so the paisley idea stuck.  As I read her description of her tastes and likes, the bag shaped up in my mind, much better than the crocheted tote was ever going to be anyway.

Before mailing:

A couple from the other side of the swap:

Thanks to my partner a besoin de parler for being such a great inspiration!

Paisley crochet?  I must master this technique.

Your bag looks really cool.  I dig the yellow.

I really like the side pockets on this bag.  That little pizzazz does so much and is so cute!
