I just posted the yarn I made from the rovings & batts I was sent in STS.

The first and third are from the rovings I got from Nesse. The fourth is from the 3 snowflake batts I claimed from Avesthel. Thanks ladies! I enjoyed spinning them up.

More action shots!

Wore my awesome new "crochet is the new black" shirt from gala_apples (now I just need an action shot of the other one) to the IKEA today! 


And while I was at the IKEA I picked up frames for the cross stitch pieces I have gotten from calluna.  Hopefully my husband will get a chance to hang them this weekend and if/when he does I will get a picture of them on the wall.


And I also picked up a frame for the cute beaded jungle animals I got from atsuko (same thing as above with the hanging, it's going to be SO cute in Q's bathroom).

Thanks guys! That's very sweet. I am finding that I am IN LOVE with spinning. I've had to ration my wool like an addict so that I won't run out until my Sheep Shed Studio order comes in! I can't find a place in DFW online that sells roving, so I'm stuck with my Hobby Lobby cheap-o bag until it gets here. I have pending points so on Monday I have a feeling I'll be claiming some more. I'm researching hand spinning in Fort Worth, so maybe I'll end up having some luck.

I love the stenciled crochet shirt. It's super cute.

Yup, born right here in FW. Stuck here. lol Thanks for the PM dip_n_dot. I'm looking on Ravelry now. I seem to just keep pulling up Jennings Street Yarns & Wooley Ewe. I called JSY and they couldn't have been less help. I guess they don't want any competition.

SML you really ARE picking it up fast! Your yarns look great I went through the same thing when I first started. Spun up everything I had within a few days then hopped online and ordered 2lbs of BFL !
