This is a Kurt Halsey image that I found on Stencilry.  It's a belated birthday gift for my cousin. She's getting married in August so I thought of her and her hubby-to-be when I saw this. I tried to incorporate their favorite colors and matched the hair color as best I could.

The original image is here: http://www.kittybuttons.com/stencils/categories/artwork/kurt%20halsey/halsey%20-%20walking%20in%20the%20rain.jpg

This is the best picture I could get of the whole thing

And here are some closeups

I was especially pleased with the hair

And the puddles

This one is for size reference (this is the biggest project I've done so far)

And, my personal favorite, my signature

As usual, I apologize for the crappy webcam shots.

Remember the time he ate my goldfish and you lied to me and said I never had a goldfish? Then why'd I have the bowl Bart?

Did I Have.

The Bowl??

Coldasahes comes from out of nowhere - POW POW POW! - with a series of great embroideries.
This one's great and the way you've created the texture through the stitching direction, like with the hair, is really a job well done!

Good job, you really captured the overall "feeling" of the original piece Smiley I'm sure they will love it!

Really beautiful work.  They'll be touched by such a cool gift for sure.  Thanks for mentioning Stencilry, too, I'll have to check it out.
