My questions to you:
Is this is scathing commentary on modern life and our fragile relationship with electronic communication..?
Is this kind of spam a language generated in a sort of internet chinese whispers?
Is this the first language that has been generated from within a virtual world?
Does me asking these questions turn this from craft into art?
Do art critics get paid for talking a lot about nothing?

My answers:
yes
I hope so
I think so
yes
yes

These are awesome.  Thought + Craft = Art

Hi Peeps,
I did another one.

I got this email:

Pressed here and ended up better in bed.
Which was funny, as I wasn't that bad in the first place, and I'd been in the office!  Grin

The random nonsensical nature of my spam messages has been a bit lacking of late. They're mostly phishing types, and therefore a bit drab. I'm told I have FedEx parcels and job offers.

I had some good ones in my Gmail, but those get deleted periodically and I think they're gone now.

This is a cracking good idea for a project.

Is this is scathing commentary on modern life and our fragile relationship with electronic communication..?

I would say that it is.

Is this kind of spam a language generated in a sort of internet chinese whispers?

This i don't know about.

Is this the first language that has been generated from within a virtual world?
No, i think there are many languages that have come out of the worlds of MUDs, MOOS, etc all the early RPGs... but these spam languages and cat macro languages are fascinating.

Does me asking these questions turn this from craft into art?
HAHHA, quite possibly Smiley

Do art critics get paid for talking a lot about nothing?
I believe so.  I wish I was one. Smiley
