My DIL wanted a handmade shopping cart cover in HER colors for the May baby arriving soon!  I adapted a pattern and arrived at this number.  Added pockets and toys.  I don't a have baby to try it out, but looks like it will work on some shopping carts.  Can't wait to try it out on my own little granddaughter!!

Works on HEB grocery carts!

Thanks for looking! Mimi! (not grandma!)

This is really pretty and looks like it will work awesomely... I wish I'd had such a beautiful cart cover for my daughter.  As it is, I didn't have any... Smiley  They really do come in VERY handy.

You did a great job!

That's brilliant!
I've never seen this before but I'll definitely be making one before my little one is able to sit in the buggy...do you have a pattern or method that you can share? Please?
Thanks so much for sharing and great work!

It's beautiful!  I've been wanting to make one for my nephew, but he's not quite big enough, yet!

Thank ya'll so much for the kind words.  It was an easy & fun project to do.
I'm not sure when I will make another one, am currently busy making so many other things for baby & baby's room...curtains, duvet cover, bed skirt, rocking chair pads, contour changing pad covers, crib sheets, playpen sheets, bottle cozies, of course the bibs and standard items!  I will take photos & be mindful of the pattern when I do the next one!

Thank you all again!

Oh man, I miss HEB (there aren't any in Dallas).  That shopping cart cover is awesome - I think I'll have to try my hand at making one for my friend in "his" colors. Smiley

Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend.  Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read.

Thanks, Redheadedblonde!  I'm sure it works on Tom Thumb carts as well!!  (We are waving to you from Central Market in Austin and the coast!)   Good luck on yours! We would love to see it when you complete it!

I've never seen anything like that before (in the UK) and I think it looks adoreable - so cute and would stop baby getting grubby from the carts.

What a great idea.
