Hello all,

I've always loved bangles and could never find any that I liked enough that I would wear all the time.  Since I found out about the plain wooden ones, I can't seem to stop making them now.  Here are a few of the ones I've made so far.

Pay no mind to the kitty hair.   Roll Eyes

Better view of the stars on this one.

This one is actually too big for me so now it's a gift for a friend.

Hope you enjoy and here's to a wonderful (and colorful) day!

I love bangles but they are always too big for my wrists! Undecided I would wear all of your creations. I especially like the first one. Smiley Smiley

I love these! They're so colorful and happy! Also, have you ever tried making ribbon bangles?

Thanks guys!

Beadingjunkie:  I know what you mean.  My wrists are really small so I have a hard time finding bracelets of any kind that won't fall off.  If you were interested in doing this though, they do have these wooden bangles in a few different sizes, including small.

Shortern:  I've never heard of ribbon bangles but I'm intrigued!  Do tell more!

I tried to find the tutorial on here, but I can't for the life of me find it! So here's a different one I found that I'm gonna try out soon: http://www.fashionisspinach.com/2006/08/diy-of-week-bangle-bracelets.html

I guess you could use ribbons instead of paper, but the paper idea sounds really neat to me!

Those are great, I love your colour choices.

I just ordered a bangle resin mold, and I'm going to try some resin bangles soon...I can't wait!

I like the Color Block feel of the one you gave away!
I've seen bangles "smallened" by inserting a filler (you could use a strip of foam or maybe papier mache), and then wrapping with other materials, fabric, ribbon, whatever, and then sealing the whole shebang.

Thanks again everyone!  I appreciate all the nice comments!   Grin

Shortern: Thanks for posting that link about the ribbon (paper) bangles.  I will definitely have to look into that in the future!

McJulie-O: Thanks for the smallening trick!  I will have to give that a shot!

Thanks!  You should be able to find them at any craft store or even online.  I found a bunch at Michaels.
