I finished up another block for the Hoop Up and Send swap over on flickr. This time the theme was enchanted forest. I couldn't resist stitching up this sweet little gnome girl drawn and designed by Digital Misfit. The swappers inspiration piece was done in redwork and since I'd never tried it before I did mine that way as well.
I varied up the stitches to keep it exciting. I used split stitch, backstitch, French knots, satin stitch, and stem stitch. She's not very big, but she sure is cute!

Awww! I am so happy with how she stitches up.  You always do such a fabulous job, and I LOVE the redwork! The varied stitches give a beautiful textural interest.
