alright. so here's a little backround story.
mid-january, my great aunt of 84 passed away. while going through all the treasures and junk in her house, i came across her bag of knitting and crocheting supplies. she had a small collection of knitting needles in a needle roll.. which was falling apart. luckly, i also came across some awesome vintage fabric. what better way to keep her memory with me than to make a new needle roll out of the fabric that i found in her house?
here's the result- my first needle roll.

its kinda hard to see but the inner fabric is light pink with white polka dots.


here it is all rolled up and tied-


and a closeup of the outter fabric- its a navy blue tweed like fabric with multi-color specs. this is also the closeup of my crappy sewing skills. haha.


now all i need to do is switch from crocheting to knitting.  Grin
