My godson's preschool has an annual fundraiser; Wine Tasting (  Cheesy ) and a Chinese Auction.  My friend asked me to donate something for it.  I decided to make a purse/bag gift set.  I also plan on adding in a mini umbrella and whatever else I can think of...  This will all be put together in a basket to make it look appealing!  Wink  I only had a fat quarter of the two print fabrics so I had to stretch it out.  After taking the pics, everything looks wonky but it is not, I hate that!

The front

The inside (with fabric covered cardboard bottom to keep the bag bottom squared)

Wristlet/Snap wallet front

Wristlet/Snap wallet inside

Bookmark and Sunglass holder (with super stiff interfacing for cushion and stability)

Flipside

Thanks for looking! Shocked

Comments and criticism appreciated! Cheesy

I really like the shape and colors.  Nice assortment of accessories too.  Maybe you should consider donating it to ME!  Wink

Thank you everyone!

You know there are things you make that you really like?  I think this is one of them.   Wink  (as opposed to some of the not-so-good-turned-out-crappy-pieces)  Wink

The size of the bag is perfect!  I will definitely keep this in mind for the future... 24" straps, top width 15", bottom width 12", height 10", depth 3"

hey Wendellina .... that's a neat bag... can't seem to find anything "wonky" about it... Smiley

was just wondering what you used to keep the base firm?  Also, did you attach or stitch it to the bottom of the bag, it looks nice and snug in there....

i'm sure it'll do well at the fundraiser........ Wink

Love the colors and the way you matched the fabrics. The little applique flowers going up the main fabric are such a perfect touch.

You have done a great job - nothing wonky about it!  I'm using the print fabrics for a quilt for my daughter - aren't the great!
