So this is my first post and I should probably mention that I am a long time lurker that finally got around to making an account. Id thought Id share my first pair of earrings that I made like two years ago. I was inspired by all the other awesome people here so here goes nothing! The first pair is the uber girly pink barbie shoe earrings..the second I made at a later date in an attempt to make them more umm classy maybe? I figured since they were gold the that they needed something to make them a bit more formal.

Thanks for looking!

OMG, those are sooo cute!  I loved playing with Barbie as a kid, and I would have (and still would) love those earring, as would my daughter.  Jewelry isn't my thing, but perhaps I'll have to give it a try.  Awesome job!  Thanks for joining Craftster and sharing these!

Welcome! I love these. I never would have thought of using Barbie shoes for charms. I don't think I could have kept track of both of them long enough to make earrings though. Seems like I could only ever find one.

Aww thanks for all the nice comments guys! I had to go on quite the mission to find those shoes, I had to dig through a huge tub of toys but when I finally found a pair of matching shoes I was so happy! I had the same problem and could only ever find just the one it took forever.

I love jewelery made of Barbie accessories, I keep meaning to track some down myself and give it a go. The pink ones are my favourite but I'm amazed by how classy the gold ones look, given that they are after all Barbie shoes! [grin]

When she was good, she was very very good - but when she was bad she was fabulous.
