Here's a picture of a tattoo sketch I did for a friend. It's in rememberance of 9/11.
I hope he likes it!
I have no previous experience with calligraphy, I just winged it, so any advice is welcomed!
The picture is dark but I couldn't use the flash.

Super groovy, I am sure your friends tattoo will look super rockn once the tattoo artist does some groovy shading (you know they always do when you bring in your own art LOL)

As for the lettering I think you did a great job, but dont be offended because his tattoo artist will most likely use his/her own version...again they always do.

You should totally post a picture to this thread when he gets the tattoo Smiley

yeah this is the fifth tattoo sketch i've done and all the final products on skin have come out amazing!

It's funny that you mention that because that's exactly what I've been thinking about doing!!
I was planning on gathering up a umm...
what do you call those things?
like a folder of my best work.
Then this summer I was gonna look around at different places.
