I tired to make this cake into an hour glass shape. It worked great until I put the fondant on. I had used cool whip in between my layers which is somewhat slippery, but the weight of the fondant made the cake slide and go wonky. I actually really loved the end result. Sort of whimsical.  The cake itself is just white boxed cake with some almond flavoring added. (It makes the cake taste great.)

Thanks, but that's because you can't see the back. I have yet to master fondant without a ripped seam or other blemish.
