Very inspiring! Once I move out of a tiny apartment, I have great plans to refurbish vintage furniture too! I adore the paint color choice. My grandma used to have a stool like this when I was a kid. Thanks for bringing back great memories of sitting on it getting my hair cut!

It seems that different people have an idea of what I am, and what I should be. And then there's me.

My mom had one of these when I was younger  Grin  I LOVE the pink!  How is the spray paint holding up on the rubber parts?  And congrats on no drips, it looks amazing!

thanks guys well i did something kinda wacky with the rubber i used one of those little black sponge brushes and sprayed the black paint into a cup then used the brush to put a really really thin coat on the rubber just to cover up the old nasty looking rubber surface so it worked great and the rubber still has all its grip and everything.

I want one!!!  You could have tried that rubberized spray paint for the black - it might last longer.

I've been looking for one one these for months!! I have floor to ceiling bookcases in my library (ie: guest bedroom) and I'm too short to reach the top. Your make-over is so cute!! And you give me hope for someday finding one of my own.
