So I really really like this idea...I've never dabbled into chunky pages but I think that the thought is killer! All the pictures from the last round were fabulous.

So question: Being fairly newbie to picking up crafts lately I have limited supplies. IE: yarn(crochet), beads, ribbon and a book of various scrapbooking paper/cutouts (I am a craft addict already LOL)...oh and I do play a little with polymer clay as well.

Would these items be usable in a chunky book page? Granted I know creativity is the key and I know -I- could use these items if I wanted to try...but opinions? I wouldn't want it to turn out TOO Chunky and unusable.

This is such an awesome idea I'd love to try my hand at it.

You have all the supplies to make awesome chunky pages  Grin All it takes is the supplies on hand, creativity and imagination. I also like to use little found objects around the house too. For color, beyond paper, you could also use paint, crayons, colored pencils and pens, etc. The sky is really the limit.

I have colored pens and sparkly pens too and not too bad in the drawing department. Thanks so much for such a quick reply!

I may just have to sign up for this if I get feedback in time before it starts, or try out my own and get others opinions before I try to make some for other people, hehe.

I'm pretty new to chunky pages too so don't be shy in trying it out. I had a blast making my first sets for the Papercraft swap. Sign-ups will be ending on the 20th so hopefully you can get feedback for your first swap before then.

Woot Feedback is received, so I'll make sure to leave a spot open for this! I've been wanting to tinker in chunky books and been scouring the internet and forums for ideas. Cheesy

Count me in!

Please let me know when signups start. I am moving and not sure how much time I will get on craftster in the next week or so and I don't want to miss this one. I loved looking at the gallery for the last round, they were beautiful pages.

Ooh, this looks like fun. My DH and I are currently living w/ his grandparents for a couple months in between houses, and if I can get all of my supplies located and organized, I'd love to do this!
