I love this dress, it looks really well made and professional

If you're just going to put the t-shirt straight on to something else (I had to make his hair so mine is two layers) you get some double sided fusible interfacing and affix it to the t-shirt first. You can then peel the other paper side off and position the t-shirt bit onto your garment, and iron it on. I'm sure that would hold well enough if you did it carefully, but I also stitched around the edge of mine with a zig-zag stitch, like applique.

Super cute dress! I love belted dresses. And David Bowie is by far my favorite artist with ziggy stardust and the spiders from mars being my favorite cd. So basically I am jealous of your dress and i wish I had your skills.

I actually ended up wearing this on the Friday night with a blue cardigan, and got a few compliments. The shirting is kinda creasy, but it survived. I will definitely wear a slip next time, got nice and drafty lol...
