Nothing original here, but I just had to share because I loved them anyway!
Tissue paper puffballs!  They work really well for filling a room with color, especially if the room has high ceilings.  (I had my tall and willing friend hang them around the weird pipe ducts that were in the room!) These take a lot of tissue paper (8 sheets per puff) but if you can find the colors you want on sale, not too expensive!
Here is the link to the instructions we used (only we just used random wire we had laying around, and fishing line)

Anyway, easy and fast when you have a lot of hands!  And my one bit of advice:
We assembled the night before, but saved the poofing (aka separating all the layers) until we got to the venue in the morning, otherwise, I have no idea how we would have managed to delicately transport them! Also, after they were all hung, we had tall friend go around and do a final poofing!

(This sign we put outside to let people know where we were!)

Beautiful! It's really nice to see them in action as I hope to make some for our wedding in May! We're using a marquee so attaching them is going to be interesting! Can I ask a question - how long roughly did it take to make each one?

Thanks!  So, roughly, each one took about 7 - ish minutes.  (The longest part is poofing them up!)

ok I tried this today and I need help!

mine don't seem to poof into a ball, but rather into 2 halves. I find it really hard to get close to the middle where the wire is supposed to be and I keep ripping the paper when I want to poof it. Any suggestions?

When we were doing them, we would start poofing them out from the center part and working out.  And we definitely had some ripped ones in the beginning, but I swear it gets easier!
