I have a bit of an obsession with cupcakes lately and needed a clean/dirty sign for my dishwasher so I came up with this. The dirty cupcake is inspired by the crocheted moldy cupcakes I'm sure many of you have seen around the net.

This is my first needlework project for myself, only other thing I've done is a pillow case for a swap. I'm pretty happy with them.

Clean

Dirty

This is terrific on many levels.
It's a good idea and it's well executed.
You should be very pleased with yourself.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with next!  Grin

Thanks guys!

My Husband called me yesterday (BTW he saw me draw them, stitch them and hang them on the dishwasher) to ask "are the dishes clean or dirty?" It really through them off when I asked him what the cupcakes said, lol.

That's adorable, and very clever!  I should really make a clean/dirty indicator for my dishwasher, but I need to embroider a baby quilt first.
