Hey all! It's been forever since I posted something I made for myself, hopefully I haven't forgotten how  Cheesy. I think this belongs in two categories because:
a. I embroidered it. ( Please be kind this is only my second embroidery project, and my  first time using the split stitch and the fill-in stitch.)
b. I made the pouch.

Since the embroidered work took the longest to complete, I decided this would be the most suitable category blah blah blah...On to the pictures!

The elephant on the front was freehanded with a crayola marker, a quick wash should get rid of the outline I couldn't cover. Now for some close ups... Smiley

Not really happy about the left side of the bow  Roll Eyes

here you can see the outline from the marker.

The pouch it's self measures 8in X 7in laying flat. I love these pouches. I carry them around as purses, as you can see it has plenty of room to spare...

All cinched up and ready to go.

Thanks for looking! Comments and criticism welcome Grin

THAT is very cute.  I love the elephant's little bow!  I think it's very well done.  The left side being a little weird just gives it some depth!  And the contrast between the fabric and the embroidery work is great!  Well done!

I agree about the bow, I don't think it looks weird at all. I love this elephant though. It makes me wish I could embroider!
